"Boy with a Suitcase" ("Το αγόρι με τη Βαλίτσα") by Mike Kenny

 

Seven performers recite the story of young Naz, the Boy with a Suitcase, using drawings, sounds and movement. Naz escapes his homeland to go to London as a refugee. He wanders through different places for more than two years till he reaches his destination. This adventurous period is divided into 7 journeys, inspired by the journeys of Sindbad, during which he has to cross the land and the water, go through dangerous paths and mountains and meet lots of people. Throughout his journeys, a girl named Krysia, helps him out and listens to his beautiful stories. These stories define his identity and his connection to his motherland and become his only real treasure and possession.
